Empowering Voices

BUILT FOR BIG MESSAGES

At The Voice House, we empower children to find their voice and speak with impact. Our Public Announcement classes are designed to transform the way they communicate, teaching them how to deliver messages that are clear, powerful, and full of energy.

Our Lessons

Express ideas clearly and concisely, ensuring the message is easy to understand, direct and purposeful.

Build a calm and professional speaking style that helps listeners feel reassured, informed, and confident in your message.

Learn how to adjust tone, pace, pitch, volume, and level of enthusiasm to suit different audiences, settings, and situations.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can you prepare my child for speaking in emergency or high-pressure situations?
We help students learn how to stay clear, calm and structured when communicating under pressure. Rather than simply memorising announcements, students practise organising information quickly, prioritising key details and delivering messages clearly and confidently. The focus is on helping students think and respond effectively even in unfamiliar or time-sensitive situations.

We teach students that authority comes from clarity, confidence and control – not volume. Students learn how to use pacing, tone, emphasis and structure to communicate in a way that is clear, composed and engaging.

The goal is to help students sound confident and credible without needing to raise their voice excessively.

Lessons may include:

  • Real-world announcement scenarios
  • Structured speaking practice
  • Voice projection and clarity exercises
  • Thought organisation activities
  • Emergency or time-sensitive communication challenges
  • Guided feedback and refinement

Students practise delivering announcements in different situations while learning how to stay calm, organised and clear. There would be debrief discussions where students reflect on what worked and why.

Students practise through roleplay, simulations and realistic communication scenarios. Depending on their age group, they may deliver announcements for situations such as lost-and-found messages, emergency instructions, school events or public notices. Younger students may practise simple lost-and-found messages while older students tackle emergency scenarios and public notices. We gradually increase complexity to help students become more adaptable and confident speakers.

We observe progress across several areas, including:

  • Clarity of speech
  • Confidence when addressing groups
  • Ability to organise information quickly
  • Voice control and pacing
  • Composure under pressure

Over time, many students become more confident and effective communicators in both structured and real-life speaking situations. Parents will receive regular updates, and students will be recorded periodically to track progress and celebrate growth.
